2. What happens if a packaged is delivered but not received?

We have the ability to track our packages, so if your package is delivered but not received, or if it gets lost in transit, we will try again or refund the purchase.

 

3. How does the tea selection process work and who is involved?

We have expert team of tea masters & evaluators, who select the teas from number of different gardens to serve you the industries best top qualities tea.

 

4. Do you offer some sort of gift card to give to friends if I ‘order for a friend’?

Absolutely! We will deliver your Gift to your friend’s address and invoice will be mailed to you electronically. We can also send a special note if any on your behalf.

 

5. We are a tea blender and would like to get involved, how do we go about it?

6. What else is in the box?

Beside your order we will provide you by 3 samples of different teas FREE of COST.

 

7. How should I go about canceling my order?

All you have to do is send us an email at ([email protected]) and let us know you would like to cancel your order. From there we will take care of canceling your order. You will receive an email once your order has been cancelled. Orders cannot be cancelled once its shipped from our fulfillment centre.

We deliver all orders within 8-10 Days. However the orders gets delivered much earlier too.

 

17. Where does your tea come from?

We buy most of our teas from the premium tea growing region of Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri and Kangra. These regions teas are famous for their fullness, flavor and brightness. The best teas from Assam are produced during the months of May and June – just before the onset of the monsoons. Our chai is made from the best quality of teas from the rich growing region of these regions.

Orange pekoe is a fine grade of black tea which delivers a deliciously rich, smooth taste and with the full body cup for you to enjoy every day.

21. What does CTC stand for on your loose tea packages?

CTC stands for "crush, tear, and curl" and it is an automated manufacturing process of tea which produces a very strong flavor. Chai Chun CTC teas produce a rich deep red/ golden color when they are brewed /boiled.

 

22. Should I use loose tea or a tea bag? Is one better than the other?

Both are good in their own aspect only it depends on your own choices.

 

23. How are Chai Chun chais different from other chai brands?

Chai Chun chais are made with the finest, authentic and natural ingredients. We do not add artificial flavors to our Chai Chun teas and we feel this offers the best and true flavor tea that can be enjoyed every day.

 

24. Is it safe shopping on Chai Chun?

Yes! It’s totally safe shopping on Chai Chun. We have encrypted Secure Server Certifications for your all Online Banking Transactions.

 

25. Do you ship to PO boxes?

27. How can I track my order?

For delivery within the India: you will receive an automated email notification from our end, tracking link of courier services which will include your tracking number.

 

28. Do I have to provide a signature to receive a product?

29. What if I am not home when courier service delivers my order?

If you are not in the home our courier service will give you a call and the delivery will be re attempt next day.

31. Is your teas gluten free?

Generally speaking, gluten is not present in the tea plant (camellia sine sis) or in herbs. There is always a very small possibility of cross-contamination somewhere along the food supply chain at the garden level. However, in all of our lot tests, we do not see any evidence of any gluten.

 

32. Are your teas certified kosher?

No, our teas are not certified kosher.

 

33. Are your teas organic?

You can find a selection of our organic loose tea blends under the organic category. Organic teas are good for you - but they are generally not from the top gardens a marketing device. Most organic teas are still grown from gardens that are average/above-average, and we are committed to sourcing from the best.

 

34. How long will my tea last?

To ensure your loose tea stays fresh after it has been opened, please: 

1. Keep it in tealeaves' food-safe storage tins, with the lid tightly closed. 

2. Keep it away from direct heat and sun, best kept in a cool location. 

3. Keep the tea away from spices, strong aromas, etc. to prevent scent absorption. 

If you follow most to all of the above, your tea can continue to stay fresh for up to 1 year. It is important to follow storage directions in order to preserve the flavor and quality of your loose tea. Our teabags are packed with tealeaves rich in essential oils, and individually wrapped using a four layer water-resistant foil structure in order to ensure optimum freshness and the finest aroma and flavor. Perfect for travel!

 

35. Can I send the package as a gift?

Yes you can! You can ship the package as a gift by entering the recipient’s name and shipping address upon check out. A gift note can be added to your order by entering your message into the "order notes" section prior to checking out.

 

36. Do you offer gift wrapping?

39. What is your tea pouch made of?

Our tea pouches are made from food graded met pet.

 

40. What is the shelf life of your teas?

Approximately 1 to 1 ½ years.

 

41. What is the difference between cello wrap & foil wrap?

Most of the pouches in our 15 count retail boxes are packaged in clear cello over wraps, made from recyclable material, which allows you to see the tea pouches inside. The information about the teas is on the box. The tea pouches in our 100 count boxes are wrapped in foil and are shipped in a plain brown box.  The foil packaging is photography based and also contains some information about that blend and our company on this wrap.

 

42. How should I store my tea?

Keep in a dry and cool place. Keep away from the stove and do not store in the refrigerator or freezer. Also, keep away from other strong smell items.  Oxygen, moisture, and foreign aromas are all enemies to the delicate subtleness of tea.  It is important to store tea in an airtight container to protect them from exposure to light, humidity, and high temperatures.

44. Can I get an order expedited?

Yes you can. We offer the following shipping options including additional charges within India.

It is an extra step to insure the security of our customers & this is directed at your Bank Site and not with us.

 

47. Do you have a catalog? 

We use our website as our catalog.

49. Can I get some samples?

We offer 3 free sample pouches with every order. 

 

50. Can I create my own samplers, use the teas I want?

No, we do not customize orders. Our samplers are packaged with our most popular blends.

 

51. Can I include a note to the gift recipient with my order?

Yes, we do offer one complimentary gift note per order. The message must be included during the order process either online or over the phone. Online, the message field is located in the shipping tab. a note to the gift recipient cannot be added after the order has been confirmed.

 

52. Can I place an order by check or money order?

We do not accept checks or money orders for purchases on our website.

 

53. Can I choose my own tea in each Chai Chun?

Yes! You can choose your own tea from our online portal link (www.chaichuntea.com). Or you can mail us at ([email protected]).

60. If I see a price reduction on Chai Chun for an item I recently purchased from Chai Chun, can I receive a refund of the price difference?
