Situated at an elevation of 240 – 640 meters above sea level, this region receives an average rainfall of 1900 mm per year. With environmental conditions ideal for tea farming, coupled with the loamy texture of its soil, Glenburn produces about 500 kilograms of exotic teas every year. A tea coming from Glenburn, Darjeeling makes for light-bodied liquor with exotic floral aroma.


    This First Flush Tea manages to strike a great balance between briskness and rounded flavors. With notes of flowers, spices, and fresh greens, its aroma is enticing while the flavor of sweet greens offers a nice lift to the palate. Easily one of the more friendly Chinary teas of the season. The Cup is marked by notes of sweet white flowers, black pepper and a hint of green chillies. Slightly brisk, rounded, and light bodied, the liquor tastes of fresh greens, similar to young grass, green peas, and cucumber. White flowers make a brief appearance in the middle, fading into light citrus notes.
