About the Tea Garden
Giddapahar or Eagle’s cliff is a privately owned tea estate. Spread over an area of 109 hectares and located at an average altitude of 1482m above the sea level, the garden is known to produce some of the finest tea in the world. It is one of the few estates in Darjeeling that still produces tea from older plantings of China tea bush varietals. This makes the tea produced here rare and a treasure to be revered.
The slightly burnt muscatel flavour is reminiscent of roasted nuts.
The bright liquor is discernible with a hint of autumnal flowers, nutty taste followed by a clonal flavour.
Food with mild flavors such as wild mushroom and morel.
Dry Leaf

Storage Instructions

Protect your investment (and your palate) by storing your fine, loose leaf tea in a proper tea container. Tea needs to be kept away from heat, light, air, and moisture.  The best way to store tea is at room temperature in an airtight tea canister. Unlike coffee, you cannot wrap up tea and put it in the freezer. Tea will lose its flavor and scent quickly if stored in fancy, purely decorative tea containers or kept near a heat source, such as a stove or next to the toaster in your kitchen.

Our airtight double walled stainless steel tea tins are the perfect tea storage container to keep your teas fresh for up to a year.
